Why plan a photoshoot outside the resort?
Some resorts limit access for outside photographers or charge fees for professional photography on their property. A session at a beach outside the resort can give you a natural setting without arranging the shoot inside hotel grounds. Beach access and transport conditions may vary, so we confirm the details for your date before you book.
How hotel pickup works
For couples
- Send us your resort name, preferred date, and the number of people.
- We confirm the pickup time, meeting point, and beach location with you.
- We pick you up and travel to Playa Esmeralda for your session.
- After the photoshoot, we bring you back to your resort.
For families and larger groups
For groups of three or more, a taxi is available for the trip to the beach and back. The client pays the taxi fare. Tell us your group size when you book so we can coordinate the vehicle and confirm its cost in advance.
Playa Esmeralda or Playa Arriba?
Playa Esmeralda
Playa Esmeralda is less than 10 minutes by car from the nearby resorts. It has a broad, natural shoreline framed by palms. It works well for barefoot portraits, family photos, and couples who want an open beach setting. The images in this article were photographed here.
Playa Arriba
Playa Arriba is about 10–15 minutes by car from the nearby resorts. It is another beach option in the Miches area. We can help you choose a location based on the atmosphere you want and the light available on your session date. Ask us to confirm access and transportation details for your plans.
What to bring to Playa Esmeralda
Choose clothing that is easy to move in and bring water and a small amount of insect repellent. Playa Esmeralda is a natural beach; on some days we have encountered mosquitoes there. We recommend carrying repellent just in case. We will share suggestions specific to your session when we confirm your booking.
