Altos de Chavon is located within Casa de Campo – La Romana – Dominican Republic.
Altos de Chavón is a recreation of an Italian Mediterranean town from the 16th century, every corner is magical and worthy of being photographed, besides being located on a small hill it has a panoramic view of a green valley and the Chavon River.
Generally, people get married in front of the small Catholic church, others place a setup with the river as a stage, others go directly to the amphitheater and get married there.
It is very difficult to choose a place for your ceremony because all the venues are beautiful.
Also in these places you can hold the reception, there is also a terrace with a very nice pool.
In Altos de Chavón it is important to respect the time because when the sun goes down, part of the charm of the place is lost and the photos remain dark, it is recommended to do the ceremony at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the sun goes down, This way your wedding photos and the wedding party will look amazing.
The predominant colors of your wedding photos will be beige, white and green, very beautiful earth tones, this is important so that you can properly select the flowers that you will use.
If you want photos on the beach, we can coordinate a more fun and daring trash the dress photo session (usually this is done 1 or 2 days after the wedding).
