The Dreams Dominicus holds a special place in my heart because it was my first job as a photographer in the Dominican Republic, I know the hotel very well and I want to talk to you about it.
This hotel has 2 gazebos, one on the shore of the beach and the other on a pier over the sea. This second gazebo is more private and is the one we recommend using.
This is a small hotel with spacious, modern rooms and good restaurants, rest assured that your guests will enjoy this hotel.
In this hotel there is also a beautiful spa where qualified stylists work who can help you look great on your big day.
Something we like about this hotel and the La Romana area is that there is no seaweed, unlike Punta Cana, where algae floods the beaches from Apr-May to October.
During the day the beach is turquoise, calm and clear and in the evening you can see the beautiful sunsets.
The wedding reception can be in the central square (we don’t recommend it because a lot of people pass by), in a restaurant or in front of the beach.
What do we like most about this hotel?
The pier gazebo and rooms.
Everything is close and with the heat in the Dominican Republic every step saved is appreciated hahaha.
What we don’t like?
The narrowness of the beach, the hotel has no gardens, the lack of privacy of the beach gazebo and the central square when it’s used for celebrations.
In short: the Dreams Dominicus La Romana is a small, beautiful and elegant hotel for the whole family, it can be a great option for your wedding by making the right choices for the gazebo and the reception venue.
